yWorld - Collaborative Social Network
yWorld is a collaborative social network designed to allow professionals to collaborate on documents and diagrams together. The site also includes text chat and video conferencing for up to 6 users. The site uses cutting edge technology such as websockets and WebRTC. I worked as the lead frontend developer on this project.
The site is built to consume an API from a server written in C. The site itself makes use of the latest HTML5 and CSS3 technologies. And the site runs as a single page application built on AngularJS. This was an early framework decision that was well worth it.

Porcupine Content Management System
While under the employment of Snazz Business Media Solutions I built a Content Management System (CMS). It was used to manage the websites of our clients, it was fully functional and allowed them to create anything from e-commerce websites to simple in formatives sites.
Snazz Business Media Solutions
A really fun project to be involved in as the front end developer, the base idea of it was to express ourselves and our work, and we definitely made good use of it.
7xpressions Business Directory
Was created as a local online business directory, unfortunately never launched into the public domain. It was very interesting to create and manage not only back end and seeing it producing results but also front end work.
Safire Insurance Brokers
A client website supported by Porcupine CMS, my roles included not only front end, but also integrating and customising the CMS in order to suite it and refine it's performance to best suite client's needs.
Kloof Veterinary Hospital
Informative website using WordPress for a Veterinary business in Pietermaritzburg.
Face of Esse Competition
Approached by Esse Organic Skincare and asked to create a website through which they could run a competition to find a person that best represented their brand and lifestyle. Deadline was very tight, but I still was able to create a smooth running back end and had fun coding the front end.
Compendium Educational Games
Compendium Educational games is a wholesaler of educational games to schools. This site used our Porcupine CMS to manage its content. Although this site is designed as an e-commerce site there is no link to any transactional facilities, this was as a result of our clients wanting to process all orders manually without the need of a merchant bank account.
